Five little Ducks
Raffi does a version of this song. This is a little different from his, but is sung to the same tune
Five little ducks went out to play Hold up five fingers.
Over the hills, and far away, Hold hand to eyebrows as though shading eyes.
Mother duck went "Quack Quack Quack" Motion "quack" with your hand
Four little Ducks came waddling back. Make wings with arms and move elbows up and down
Continue to count down until there are no little ducks left, then sing:
No little ducks went out to play,
Over the hills and far away,
Hold hand to eyebrows as though shading eyes.
Father duck went "QUACK, QUACK, QUACK",
Five little ducks came waddling back.
Hold up five fingers again.

5 little ducklings knocking at my door
(Sung to tune of "Battle of 1812")

5 little ducklings knocking at my door...(5 fingers up/ Pretend to Knock)
I wonder what they’re looking for?(Shade eyes with palm)
But I don’t believe I’ll open up the door,(Shake head “no”)
‘Cause Mama said, “No puddles on the floor”.(Walk as though splashing in the puddle on the floor.)
Repeat with 4,3,2, and 1 ducklings
Last verse:
No little ducklings knocking at the door.(Pretend to knock)
I wonder what they were looking for? (Shrug)
I’m glad I didn’t open up the door(Nod)
‘Cause ducks always make those puddles on the floor. (Walk as though splashing in the puddle on the floor.)
