| Name | ___Daisy_____.....Storage Box #___ 4____ |
| Type | Human, full body, moving mouth, attached legs.
This lets me know
that I can't use this puppet with a small stage. You might want to include
actual measurements so that you have that information available for costumes or
props |
| Color | ______Purple Hair__________________ |
| Size | ______22" ________________________ |
| Age | ______22 going on 12_______________ |
| Sex | ______female_____________________ |
| Puppet's Sound or catch phrase | "Can you hear me?" [High Falsetto voice] Using Daisy's catch
phrase gets me into character immediately. Even if I don't say the phrase out loud, it serves as an anchor to keep her voice consistant from performance to performance |
| Favorite Color | ____Neon Pink and Orange______________ |
| Favorite Food | ____Chocolate_________________________ |
| Favorite Book or Story | ___Daisy never read a book in her life.__ |
| Favorite TV Show | ____Charmed________________________ |
| Favorite song | ____Girls just want to have fun________ |
| Level of Education | ____High school. Studied boys._________ |
| Home | Daisy lives in a cold water flat. She pretends she lives in a mansion and has
servants, but lets things slip occasionally that let the audience know that
she does her own housekeeping. |
| Family Background | Daisy is the youngest and the only girl in a family of six.
Daisy is spoiled--"Daddy's little girl"
|
| Best friend | Her cat Fluffy*, a scroungy alley cat that hates everybody but Daisy. |
| Hobby | Doing her hair.
In fact, she occasionally misses
curtain calls because she is "doing her hair". [We don't know exactly what she is doing to it since her hair is always very messed up] |
| Greatest fear | ___Bugs____________________________ |
| Puppet's general outlook on life | __Happy-go-lucky___________________ |
| Additional information | Daisy is a stereotypical "dumb blonde". She tries to act sophisticated, but always blows
it. When she acts self-centered, it is because
she's totally oblivious. |
| Parts this puppet has played | ___Little Girl in "Worst Witch"_________ |
| | ___Hostess for Barry Sing Show_______ |
| | ___Princess in Princess and the Pea______ |
*indicates that there would be a seperate
sheet for Fluffy |
Here is a picture of Daisy in action during a presentation of "The Princess and the Pumpkin", a Halloween version of the Princess and the Pea. Both Daisy and the Queen were made using the Child Pattern. Daisy is a little larger than the rest of my puppets and is my "go-to gal" for any female parts that call for over acting or just plain silliness. Because she is so large, I can purchase clothing and props in kid's size and easily adapt them to fit her.
