Here are some pictures from a 2008 school show. Billy is made from the Child puppet pattern |
Billy checks out a book about ancient Egypt and the adventure begins. The pyramid was built of 2" foam wall insulation. It was light and portable, but boy! was it hot to work in there! |
View from the back of the library. Our schools use an open floor plan, which means that all the classes have to pass through the library to get somewhere else. Roadblocks of chairs prevented kids from cutting through the stage area during the performances. |
Reading hieroglyphics with a hippo. (The Hippo is from Folkmanus--their puppets are pricey, but easy to use.) |
I don't get to see this view, since my head is below the playboard. Thanks to the mom who took the pictures, I can see that the kids are enthralled byt the show. This is what it's all about!
